Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our student Aides are learning the human body and how it works. One day, they will be the professionals taking care of injuries. I am asking for tools that will help them learn how the body systems work in athletic populations. The lymphatic system is important in returning fluid from the fingers and toes to the center of the body.
Recovery Boots and a massage table will help my students learn how fluid flows throughout the body and brings healing to damaged tissues.
My students will practice using these tools on others and on themselves to help prepare them for careers in the medical profession. Each tool they are exposed to helps broaden their knowledge and strengthen their skills. One day, these students will be caring for me, my family, and the community around me or maybe even you!. I want them to know the tools available to help heal from injuries.
