Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a dual immersion (Spanish/English) school. This means some students come in speaking English and some come in speaking Spanish. Instruction occurs in both languages so students graduate bilingual and bi-literate. My students are bilingual, which is amazing, but they are also kind, funny, and inquisitive.
A few of my books from the past school year have come up missing, despite my best effort to have a check out system.
I can't be too upset - I am glad that books are in students' hands!
I would love to see the books replaced so my new group of students can enjoy them!
