Help me give my students a bright and cheerful recording studio where I can record lessons for them during this difficult time that we are forced to be away from our school.
My students amaze me every day! They work hard on their assignments. They are inquisitive about their learning and the world around them. They are tenacious geniuses regardless of what they face.
My goal is to give them opportunities every day that show the world around them that they are amazing and beyond able to change our planet for the better.
I want to give them every chance to be the best that they can be! Each project I work towards fulfilling is all because of what they hope to accomplish.
My Project
I am hoping that, through your donation, I can give my students something to look forward to during this bleak time. I would like to set up a home lesson recording studio to record lessons for them that they can view at home while we are away from school. I have requested a table, chair, and backdrop to make a consistent spot for them to see (that's not the chaos of my own home at this time). The electronics requested--a gimble, light, wireless microphone, and power strip--will make it possible for me to make high-quality recordings with my already owned items (An iPhone, iPad, and iPad stand, and video recording software).
Having high quality recordings in this new studio space will make it so I can give my students videos to look forward to each day as we are social distancing due to the Corona Virus.
Additionally, once we are able to resume school again, I can use these items to keep a space to continue to make videos for student who are absent and to help other students around the world. I would also like to be able to share the videos I make, not only with my class, but hundreds of students in my community and other communities. All the items requested will be able to be used for many years to come with my class and online.
