My Students

My students are some of the most motivated and engaged students in our district. These are student professionals who will work with real industry partners and business clients to create real-world projects for them. They have access to an amazing faculty and an incredible building. Audio and music production are super engaging and they can't wait to get started.

These kids are so excited to learn from industry professionals with industry-standard equipment and technology.

Today was our first day and nearly every student remarked about how cool this was and how excited they were to be here.

Having some musical instruments in our studio will allow these students to fulfill the USBE standards related to music production and audio recording. We can learn about microphones and other equipment by using musical instruments in the classroom. The entire strands one through four would be completed with this equipment.

My Project

I have chosen an industry-standard drum kit and electric bass. This musical equipment will help my students to not only learn how to record and produce music in a recording studio, but will allow music and artistic expression into my course. This is so important to their learning, but also to their emotional and mental health. The ability to create, using quality instruments, gives them unlimited benefits.

These students are so excited to learn and create in a musical environment.

This equipment will fulfill the USBE strands and standards while also helping students to love their education.
