Help me give my students recorders that 4th and 5th graders at our school can use for years to come.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Davis's classroom raised $752

My Project
Learning to play the recorder is part of our elementary music curriculum and part of a well-rounded elementary music education, introducing students to the impact of breath support and fingerings, and supporting the teaching of melodic concepts. Currently, however, our school is not stocked with recorders! Since classroom recorders cost between $5 and $15, many elementary classroom music teachers across the US ask families to purchase them for their children. For the families of my students, $5 to $15 is not necessarily a small ask.
I am hoping to raise money to purchase enough recorders for each of my 4th and 5th grade students, so that I don't have to ask their families to spend a penny.
The recorders will remain a part of our school's music program, serving future 4th and 5th graders and providing our students with more equitable educational opportunities.
