Help me give my students recorders so they can learn to play them during distance learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school has made tremendous gains over the past twelve years, moving from one of the lowest-performing schools in the area to achieving the honor of being named a California Distinguished School!
We are an example of a community of students, teachers, parents, and staff all working together for academic achievement.
Our hope is that many of our students will be the first generation in their families to go to college!
The majority of my students are English language learners (ELLs) whose families are newcomers to America. They are highly motivated to learn and prosper.
My Project
The recorders I'm requesting will be used by 93 second and third graders. They will learn how to play this wonderful instrument while they are distance learning. It is my goal to teach each student how to play a recorder and have a small concert (virtually or in-person) at the end of the school year.
I want my students to experience the power of music.
It is much needed during this pandemic.
Thank you for taking the time to read and consider our project. My students and I appreciate your support.
