Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are the best all around. Tenacity and determination are two words that come to mind when I think of my students because they always give 100 percent and never give up.

Because of this, I want to offer my students with an opportunity that most elementary schools are no longer offered.

Learning and playing the recorder would give students a different outlook outside of the negative things they could be exposed to. I would like to show students the peace in music, and the calm in the storm. Just music!
