My Project
The third graders at our school are funny, inquisitive, and excited learners. We teach in rotations on Friday and students often say this is their favorite day of the week. This is the time we can teach STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Music.
While the students love all of the rotations, they often tell me music is their favorite part of the week.
We spend a great deal of time learning to play the recorder. Students love to earn belts for their recorder karate. The end of the year black belt concert is always a huge hit and parents love to see their children play pop songs along with the musical standards they learned to earn their belts.
