This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recorders have been a staple in every music classroom. Recorders help develop hand and eye coordination, cognitive skills, communication skills, and the most important skill, the skill of reading music.

Our goal is for students to read increasingly difficult text.

That text being music notation. We want students to be equipped to play in any situation at any level.

Our students are bright, inquisative, and eager to learn. Unfortunately, 83% of students recieve free lunches and aren't able to purchase instruments. With your help students will see that reading music is FUNDAMENTAL!
