My district is a large district with almost three thousand students from K - 12th grade. In the district, we have many students coming and going throughout the year because of the demographics of the surrounding area.
My students are eager learners and love to come to music.
We have so much fun in class we can't describe it. Streamers, flashlights, instruments of all sorts can be found in the music room helping us become lifelong lovers of music.
My Project
Recorders are the highlight of coming to music at my school in third grade. The students just love the opportunity to try their first wind instrument. However, some students struggle with the dexterity needed in covering the holes on the recorder and need a little extra help.
The Nuvo recorders are build to help students that struggle by using a key system that cover the holes of the instrument.
By purchasing eight of these instruments, I hope to help the students that struggled with the dexterity that it takes to play recorder. I anticipate, with this addition to the classroom, the students will gain lifelong learning experiences.
