My Project
At our school we have 13 classes of Intensive Reading. Three 8th grade, three 7th grade, and seven 6th grade. This means that there are 13 classes of students who are not on grade level for reading.
Rewarding the students with granola bars and small candies motivates them to do well and take their time.
We are trying so hard to get these students back on grade level with their reading. Now that we are all back in school, we really need to focus on getting them back on track.
These students are very motivated by food! They love to eat and being a Title 1 school, they love the recognition!
