This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items will help as a calming corner in a room to support positive SEL. With the amount of stress kids and teachers face daily, often times a 5-10 minute break to sit in a comfy chair, breathe in some lavender scents and color some mindful pages can decrease stress to recharge you and return to class. The cabinet will be used to store items such as the color pencils, pages (we can make copies of pages so only 1 book is needed), and place the diffuser on top.
