This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in the 7th grade learning about history. They are a mixed bag of ethnic backgrounds and they each bring a unique view of the world. I like being able to show them the experiences that they have available for them in the future if they work hard. Most of them are very interested in fun and engaging learning and that is why I try to have guest speakers, and moving activities. They enjoy having ownership of their learning!

My Project

We frequently use the students devices in the classroom for many reasons. They double as clickers and can be used for things such as Pear Deck. We are trying to teach them responsible use of their devices. Because of this we need to be able to each have a way to recharge them without cords. The lamps are a great way to do this and it doubles as a light in the classroom.

This way when we show clips we are able to turn off more lights around the projector for a better viewing experience.
