Recharge and Focus on the Learning

Help me give my students stools that allow for continuous movement helping them to release excess energy while also increasing their focus. Also, please help replace the broken charging cables for our iPads.

My Students

My class is comprised of twenty-two rambunctious and sweet kindergarteners. The majority of my students come from military families and are often without one, or sometimes both, of their parents at some point in the school year. They are strong kids who have already learned to deal with some hard situations and emotions, but they always have smiles on their faces.

My students also come to class with a variety of learning levels and abilities.

Some are learning to read chapter books and write full sentences, while others are learning to identify letters and how to hold a pencil. Despite all of the various levels that my students are at, our focus in our classroom is always to challenge, inspire and help each other grow.

My Project

We have 6 iPads in our classroom that we use for our math curriculum. My students also use them to practice phonics skills. We need to replace the broken charging cables and I would like to get a power strip to easily charge them.

The stools that I am asking for will help my energetic and active students channel their energy while also helping them focus on the work at hand.

I believe in allowing my students to move while learning and embed kinesthetic movements into my lessons. I know this helps make connections and having these stools will allow my students to be productive in their movements.
