Recess with Second Grade!

Help me give my students a true outside experience! My goal is to get my students more active and enjoy simple outside games!

My Project

My goal this year is to get my students more active and to get a true outside experience. They tend to spend a lot of time on electronics both in school and at home. Some of them don't ever go outside to play.

I would like them to get out and enjoy recess the old school way!

We are going to learn recess games, how to problem solve, and team work with the recess items, hula hoops, and jump ropes we need. Instead of just sitting on the playground, we are going to PLAY!

My students really enjoy learning new things, and I know this would apply to recess games as well. They catch on quickly, and I can't wait to see what they will do with new games outside.
