This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach the sweetest 1st Grade students. They love to learn, and I really am a big believer in joyful learning. School should be a happy place.

The children do not go outside for recess and if they do go out on occasion it is just a cement school yard.

Having some toys for them to play with after lunch would make school much more fun.

It is important for children to learn to get along with others and work and play together. Getting along is a lifelong skill that is very important for all to learn.
