Recess Time is Needed

My Project

I am going on my eighth year of teaching. Through all my years of teaching and from what I remember as a kid in school the best time of the day, besides, lunch was recess. Students get time to play outside and or with their friends, which sadly a lot of the time they do not do at home. Kids are so absorbed in electronics that interacting with their friends in person may only be had during school hours. That being said it should be something they enjoy and get to let loose and have fun with.

Students can not enjoy recess without the equipment to do so.

Whether it is a rainy day outside so recess has to be indoors or it's a beautiful day to run outside, students need items to enjoy that time with. They enjoy recess so much more when they are playing games with their friends or drawing images on the ground with chalk. It is an important time of the day for them to develop the social skills needed to correctly work well together and interact. These items will help them do just that.
