My Project

My students come from a low socio economic background and as such don't always have access to extra curricular activities or sports. However, they are still children and need opportunities to play and have fun. This makes their recess time even more important. Recess gives students a chance to have a break and play with other kids in a fun and unstructured environment.

Recess and Playtime teach cooperation, fair play, problem solving, and build determination in students.

These tools for playing help my students develop critical social and emotional skills while also giving them an opportunity to enjoy being children.
