Recess Is Important, Too!

Help me give my students balls to play with at recess! Several students would rather be playing a sport than playing on the playground.

My Project

I love how my fourth graders are just beginning to appreciate sports and get competitive. Sometimes my kids bring basketballs and soccer balls from home to play with, and when they do, my class has such a great time! That doesn't happen everyday though, and I would love to be able to provide them for my students to play with every day.

We have about 30 minutes of recess/outdoor time a day, and I would love to make the most of that time for my class.

These balls will be stored in the mesh ball holder and looked after every day by the student in charge of our "outdoor toys job." This is one of our classroom jobs that is taken seriously. Along with my help, this student will round up our recess supplies after every recess and make sure that it is stored correctly and taken care of!
