Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with a great group of learners which include TK through fifth grade students. A large percentage of our students are eligible for free or reduced price lunch and are English Language Learners.

I am requesting a variety of games including Connect Four, air hockey table, checkers, Tic Tac Toe, and Battleship board game for my students to play during recess.

These socially appropriate games and activities will increase their social motivation and social interactions between their classmates. I would like to facilitate some activities during recess to create a much safer space for my students.
