Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are lucky that on our campus all of our students receive recess time. The one draw back is that there is very little to do at recess for our bigger kids.
The game and volleyball equipment will not only help keep our junior high kids from sitting around, but they will also help our students develop their communication skills which will make our campus welcoming to all of our students.
In addition, one of my students personally requested some of these items because she sees new students sitting alone and she wants to go talk to them, but she doesn’t know what to say. She said these games will help give her something to talk about so the new students don’t have to be alone.
