Recess Fun for All: Adaptive Swing for Special Needs

Help me give my students with special needs an adaptive swing seat so they can swing like their peers do!

My Project

My school district is small and we don't yet have adaptive playground equipment. This limits the recreation and social interaction of the students with special needs.

If my students had an adaptive swing they would have access to one of the most popular, enjoyable recess activities within their age group.

My students have recess with their general education peers and typically, they travel around in their wagon and visit others or throw a ball with them. But, if they could swing like their friends do... imagine the experience they would have, and the smiles! They deserve to have more fun at recess. Thanks for considering our project.
