My Students
My students come from all around the world. At our school, our students speak more than ten languages. Many students of ours have just arrived from the country or are translators for teachers because their parents do not speak English.
My students do not have the same opportunities as most students in the school district.
Eighty-five percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Their families do not have much money. It is my job to provide them with the education to make good choices about healthy eating habits, exercise, and play!
My Project
Recess is an essential part of our students daily life. It is an unstructured time that allows a student to be creative with other and cooperate with peers. Basketballs and four square balls will allow students to cooperate with each other during recess.
Recess is a time for fun, cooperative games that will allow students to create new relationships with students not in their classes.
In PE, students will be able to time each other at different skill-related and health-related activities. In the beginning of the year, they can time each other and at the end of the year, they can compare how much they have improved.
