My Students

Foster a love for recess during COVID-19. We are trying to help the scholars maintain some type of "normalcy" by providing individual recess bags for the scholars to have fun during indoor recess during these challenging times.

The teachers and the scholars are consistently working hard to our goal to prepare our scholars for success in high school, college, and beyond.

My Project

According to research, recess is an opportunity to develop critical life skills. Recess promotes social and emotional learning for children while allowing them to interact with their peers. However, during these trying times, I want to provide individual recess bags for my scholars to have a little fun during indoor recess due to COVID-19. The items will help maintain social distancing while the scholars can play safely and also have some fun. The playdoh, puzzles, travel-size games, activity books, legos, critical thinking games will be included in the recess bags.
