This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students thrive when they have opportunities to move, play, and celebrate successes. Unfortunately, much of our recess equipment is worn out or missing, leaving limited options for active play. I am requesting new recess equipment, a durable ball cart for storage, and fun prizes for our classroom treasure box.

Recess is more than just a break in the day—it’s a chance for kids to develop social skills, build friendships, and release energy so they can return to the classroom ready to learn.

Right now, our playground is missing many of the tools that make play engaging and inclusive. With your help, we can replace old or broken items with fresh equipment like balls, jump ropes, and playground games, all stored in a sturdy ball cart for easy access and organization.

In addition, I am requesting small, affordable treasure box prizes as rewards for positive behavior and academic growth. These rewards are powerful motivators that encourage students to do their best, show kindness, and make good choices.

Your generosity will directly support active play, positive behavior, and a joyful learning environment. Every donation helps bring more smiles, more movement, and more moments of success for my students.
