This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan on using this bookshelf and Literacy Centers to help me organize a new classroom at King Kamehameha III School. I am rebuilding my SPED classroom after the Lahaina Fires, and needed more organization for the new space.
I plan on using the shelf to have various literacy centers and books that I can use for my students with special needs in our new space.
This organization piece will allow me to find materials and more access items more readily, so that I can plan and prepare for my students.
My students are all very special in their own way. I mostly work with Special Education students in Kindergarten, so we tend to have a lot of centers and manipulatives that need organization.
