Rebuilding Plaza Towers Together

My students need a kraft roll paper cutter dispenser, electric three hole punch, binding machine, shredder, paper cutter, and a laminator to help rebuild our school.

My Students

Laughter and excitement changed to tears and sadness in a matter of minutes on May 20, 2013. One moment the students and teachers of Plaza Towers are anxiously awaiting the last day of school and eager to begin their summer vacation until a F5 tornado blew it all away.

Plaza Towers Elementary students were filled with anticipation and enthusiasm for end of the year award programs, yearbook signing, and last day of school activities.

The students did not have the opportunity to experience all of the end of the year fun. There were no award certificates, yearbooks, or last day of school laughter.

My Project

This project will help to rebuild Plaza Towers Elementary and replace just a little bit of what was lost from their school. Our teachers will the use the kraft roll paper cutter dispenser, laminator, paper cutter, and binding machine to create a classroom filled with hope for the future not what was lost in the past. The children deserve more than a room with four walls and a roof over their head. They need a place to feel safe, learn, and call home. After all, school is just like home to our teachers and students; we grow to become our own little family within our classrooms.

Through your amazing generosity Plaza Towers can begin to move forward.

We will not forget the sorrow of a tragic ending but we can create a hopeful beginning to a brand new school year.
