I teach in a Title I school where all students receive free lunch. As you all know this school was one that was affected by Hurricane Matthew. My classroom was broken into and both of my laptops and both of the iPads were stolen. Your help in replacing the technology for our children will be greatly appreciate.
These children have been through so much with being displaced and and loosing everything they had to being out of school for 3 weeks.
They just need to get back to normal and your help with assist with the process.
My Project
This would help with group time. The laptop that I had was stolen during the hurricane. The building was vandalized and my room was broken into. Needless to say, my laptop along with other items were stolen. The laptop was used to supplement the curriculum during group time by streaming from the laptop. By doing this the students are getting hands on and cooperative learning skills while building literacy skills along with mathematical skills. Their music and movement is also done on the Smartboard. This laptop would be a great help with enhancing the curriculum in my classroom. A laptop is very essential in our class.
