I teach in a Title 1 school where all students receive free lunch. As you all know this school was one that was affected by hurricane Matthew. My classroom was broken into and both of my laptops and both of the iPads were stolen. Your help in replacing the technology for our children will be greatly appreciate.
These children have been through so much with being displaced and and loosing everything they had to being out of school for 3 weeks.
They just need to get back to normal and your help with assist with the process.
My Project
During the storm our school was flooded and someone stole the iPads and Laptop from my classroom. Now the children don't have the means to continue as before the storm.
Before hurricane Matthew we had iPads in our classroom that the students used daily in order to increase their literacy skills, learning alphabets, numbers, and nursery rhymes.
Having these iPads will help the students to return to normalcy after this storm that has displaced the entire community. They will come back to school and return to normal in the classroom if they have the items they need. They will be on the iPads daily working on literacy and mathematical concepts.
