My Project
A few years ago, my students fell in love with my Graphic Design Class as I introduced them to the Cricut Design System. It allowed my students to take the projects they visualized digitally and then be transformed into physical items from graphics to personal items to use for our school. As time went on they created more projects and became young entrepreneurs in our classroom. This year, I switched schools and discovered my new students were just as creative, but we had a problem, no Cricut Despite this, I didn't let it limit my students and I have been using my own personal Cricut for their projects in our classroom. I want to start rebuilding a MakerSpace at my school. We have hit the first part by getting ourselves a great 3D printer and now we are ready for the next step, which is crafting. This will allow my current students to use their creativity to create and form their projects. My students are gifted and I don't want them to be limited. I want them to be the true engineers of tomorrow.
