This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are passionate learners who come to school every day prepared to learn and have an awesome day. The CVC games I have put on my list will have my students become super readers as they engage in the colorful pictures to tap out the beginning, middle, and final sounds. The index cards I have put on my list will be given to each student and together we will create a book of all word families so they can bring it home and back to school to practice reading their CVC words. The index card book will also help my students write down their heart words and practice reading them daily.
