My Students
Our classroom is made up of diverse, eager, and extraordinarily empathetic little humans. We instantly connected and became a family, and for that, I owe my kiddos the world.
We all have stories, we all help each other grow from the heartache to be better people and, most importantly, world changers. I am completely sure that my kiddos will make waves in the world. They will challenge the status quo and make wherever they are a place of uniqueness and opportunity.
We are unique. We are a family.
My Project
The books chosen for this project will fill in the holes in our classroom library. I have many readers that are craving good nonfiction options, that we just don't have access to in our classroom...YET.
This nonfiction book haul will give so many learners in our room the opportunity to fall in love with books, and be a gateway for their lifetime love of reading. I keep a book wishlist next to my classroom library, and have compiled a shopping cart of books that meet their nonfiction requests.
