My Students
It is hard for me to make my students understand why we do math, the math series I am currently teaching with does not emphasize how we use the concepts in the real world. Having this program will help me in teaching my students how they will use math concepts in the real world.
My students love to learn hands on, they are well behaved and love to play games that promote learning.
They attend a school that has a very diverse population, many of these students are free and reduced lunch children. Most of my students come from single parent homes, in which the parents work 2nd and 3rd shifts.
My Project
Having these resources will enhance the way that I am currently teaching. These programs promote a lot of hands-on and peer learning. Students will learn how to relate math concepts they are learning to outside of the classroom activities. They will also be able to learn to write sentences, working toward publishing their own stories.
Having these teaching resources will enhance they way I teach and the way my students learn.
These activities being hands on will allow my students to better understand what is being taught and carry it with them throughout their lives and education.
