My Students
As a teacher in a high poverty school district, I work with students that are faced with challenges in and outside the classroom. Despite the challenges my students face, they persevere. My students are high energy, communicative, and enthusiastic learners. They have a lot of energy and are always looking for a fun way to learn. They love to get involved with the lesson in whatever way possible.
My students love to show off their work and teach their peers.
They are excited to teach each other, both in groups and in front of the class. My students are visual learners. They love to use different resources in the room to show learning strategies to their friends. The students are a great group of mathematicians, scientists, writers, and artists.
My Project
Learning this year is different, everything this year is different. While my students are trying hard to learn in the traditional way. This school year is not traditional and I owe it to my students to find fun and engaging activities to help them learn.
These Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to buy project based learning activities for my students to practice what we are learning in class in a fun way.
Project based learning is a fun and exciting way for students to review what we have learned in class. The projects are based on real world activities and give students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in class.
