My Project
We are launching a school podcast to amplify student voices and bring journalism to life. To do this, we need podcasting equipment that allows students to produce professional-quality audio content.
The gear we’re requesting includes two iMac computers, USB microphones, headphones, pop filters, boom arms, and a compact soundproofing setup plus clipboards, notebooks, and books.
We’ll also use digital audio recorders for field interviews and sound editing software to polish our episodes.
These tools will help students:
Plan and script podcasts
Conduct and record interviews
Learn digital editing and publishing
Build confidence through voice and storytelling
Collaborate on real-world journalism projects
This project combines English, media literacy, civic engagement, and career readiness. Our students will gain communication skills, storytelling power, and hands-on experience in a growing industry.
