My Students

My students pledge to push the boundaries of science, mathematics, engineering and technology.

We are a Title 1 school in the heart of Texas.

My students are inquisitive, energetic and curious. We are a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics magnet middle school. My students want to grow up to be computer scientists, mechanical engineers, environmental engineers, roboticists and the like.

My Project

Our students will use the books to compete in the annual "Name That Book" contest, which serves to acquaint students with classic literature as well as contemporary award-winning books, representing a variety of genres. The district-wide competition is held in the spring.

This donation will make it possible for our students to exchange ideas and discuss incredible books with other students.

The books on the Name That Book list really provide something for everyone. They are thought-provoking and challenging, and many students have fallen in love with some great books they probably would not have read if it had not been for Name That Book.

Ms. Zeno Young Womens College Preparatory Academy Grades 9-12
