Help me give my students real stretched canvases so they can create their original masterpieces!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bonilla's classroom raised $189

My Students
I teach Kindergarten in a racially diverse Title I school that serves the needs of a broad range of learners. I have students from many countries and many languages are represented in my class. Half of my students are English learners. My students are curious and eager kindergartners. They ask many questions and engage each other daily.
My class is an engaging and student-centered environment where each child has individualized learning goals.
I work hard to provide a multileveled program for the multiple levels of learners in my room.
My Project
Nothing compares to the authentic experience of mixing paints and putting them on canvas! Funding this project will give my students the ability to create works of art that they will keep and treasure into adulthood. Art on canvas can withstand the test of time. The students and their parents will display the artwork proudly and keep these projects because they will resemble the works they see in museums.
For many inner-city students creating a masterpiece on a stretched canvas may be the spark that inspires them to pursue their passion for painting.
For most, this will be the only "real art" that will be on display in their homes.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
