Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third graders go to a Title I school which means they qualify for a free or reduced lunch. They are eager to learn and try their best each day. They enjoy being at school which they tell me helps them to stay focused vs. learning remotely at home on Zoom. They also love to interact with their friends and share stories about themselves.
My Project
My students have been using Chromebooks to access educational programs. I've been using a power strip to charge them as needed but it would be helpful to be able to charge more than a couple at a time since the whole class needs to use them.
This charging station is needed so that their Chromebooks will be charged and ready to go when the students need to get on their devices.
By having this charging cart they can rest assured that their chrome books will be charged and they won't have to wonder if they have any battery left.
