No matter what challenges my students face, they come to school every day ready to learn. My students come from a rural town in Ohio. They come from diverse backgrounds, and never let any of life's challenges get in the way of their learning. They thrive in the face of adversity.
My students are children who have big dreams, goals, and aspirations.
They take on challenges and use a growth mindset to overcome any obstacle they meet.
Our math is full of fun content, including multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry. As the year comes to a close, we will transform our room into a glow-in-the dark zone and spiral review this year's content. Black lights will be set up, task cards will be made of neon paper, and all work will be done in highlighters. We will show our knowledge by making it GLOW!
Glow-in-the-dark math will make review fun and meaningful.
When students are invested, they are more likely to take stock in their work and show what they know!
