My students from Philadelphia are part of a pilot program that connects Head Start and Bright Futures children. This pre kindergarten program gives children from all cultures, areas, and various incomes, an opportunity to learn and thrive within our district.
My little learners enjoy playing, writing, reading, discovering, sharing ideas, and exploring during center time, circle time, and during meal times, within our classroom.
They are encouraged to explore and investigate as they touch, listen, look, speak, and grow throughout the day.
My spectacular children enjoy listening to rich literature, talking and sharing ideas with peers, playing with friends throughout the classroom and learning about the world around us. As they gain confidence, learn, and gather knowledge throughout the day, I am confident that they will be successful in the future.
My Project
Our learning environment has changed the way our children learn and interact within our Pre-K classroom. Our traditional classrooms and the style of learning will need to be adjusted to accommodate the new health standards. When we return to the classroom our children will be playing together while keeping his/her germs separate. Art supplies and toys will be required to be personalized and sanitized.
Kinetic Sand, individualized magnetic boards, and personalized center containers will give our students the opportunity to interact with peers, while staying safe.
These items will also provide new materials within our class to encourage growth and inspiration.
