Help me give my students and teachers peace of mind by having a emergency backpack in every classroom. We have the contents for the kit, but need more durable backpacks.

My Project

Our elementary school houses grades Pre-k through 2nd and has about 440 students. These students come from a variety of backgrounds. The one thing that makes everyone the same is our love your our school, community, and each other. Unfortunately, we live in a time where emergencies are happening more and more frequent. In order for our students and teachers to be prepared for these situations, we have created emergency kits for each classroom, but need better backpacks to hold our supplies.

These emergency backpacks will travel with the students whenever they leave the classroom and house a variety of medical supplies.

The contents of the backpacks include things such as a LifeVac, CPR shields, gauze, bandages, gloves, and so much more. The problem we ran into with our bags was that they were not strong enough for all the supplies we want our teachers to have at their fingertips. This is why we need your help to get more durable backpacks for each classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
