This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials I'm requesting will help my students learn to read! We currently have everything we need, except this teacher guide. This teacher guide will be crucial in helping me provide research-based instruction for primary students.
My goal is to fill in the gaps in phonics and reading skills, so my students can become proficient readers.
The majority of my students come from low-income households, and many are English language learners. They are eager to learn, and love learning to read! This guide will make research-based instruction easy for me to implement. The organizer trays will be for magnetic alphabet trays we will use in small group instruction. We already have the magnetic letters, and we need a way to help keep us organized, and to maximize learning.
