Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will provide my students a comfortable, flexible seating area where they can read independently and work in small groups. My school embraces "thinking classroom" strategies which consists of students collaborating and problem solving in a variety of settings. I believe the carpet and seats would make a great space for students to work together. Also, this space could support students' social emotional well-being because students could use this space to calm down or relax. Each student has their own device so the cart would make it much easier for students to charge their devices in the afternoon.
