My Students

My students are young and ready to learn! We are an International Baccalaureate School. We spend time researching, asking questions, and being generally curious about our world.

I have a lot of diverse learners in the classroom.

Each student brings their own unique life experiences to the classroom and we celebrate everyone's individuality in our learning experiences.

My Kinders come in very eager to learn and grow in reading, writing, science, and math. Books help us dive into different learning worlds.

My Project

Books are the most important piece of a successful Kindergarten classroom and experience.

Every lesson in the classroom is accompanied by a book and a discussion.

Through this we are connecting ourselves to the text, learning how to read by listening to stories, and gaining valuable comprehension skills by engaging with a text through listening and answering questions asked by the teacher.

Learning to read is an essential skill for all people to be successful throughout their academic life and professional careers. Reading skills build writing skills and those skills are used in every subject area in school.

Children need books to learn and have fun.
