As a Kindergarten teacher, I am continuously filled with amazement of the growth and potential that my young students encompass. Each day, these students come to school with new ideas and the enthusiasm to continue learning.
We are constantly moving around and interacting with learning in a hands-on way.
It is rare for us to sit at our seats for very long throughout the day. Instead, we love to be at different stations, walking around, and especially on the carpet!
These young students have already shown some much growth as learners throughout this school year. Many students came into the year unsure of themselves as learners and their abilities. Now, we are all readers, mathematicians, scientists, and are continuing to learn new things each day!
My Project
These days there is a lot of pressure for young students to develop reading skills. By having access to leveled readers, as well as a variety of other reading materials, my young students will quickly gain essential skills needed to become effective readers.
By having a variety of different books to chose from, all students will be able to select a book that is highly engaging and interesting.
Students will also be able to use the hands-on manipulatives to reinforce vital, early literacy skills.
My young students absolutely love being active and finding ways to move while learning! My students will adore getting to bounce on the yoga ball while reading and completing other learning activities.
