Some of my students lack the resources or transportation to access the resources necessary to become better readers and learners.
My students are very eager to learn and be challenged.
I teach at a Title I school, and the students that I have are willing to learn to read but lack the necessary resources to do so. My students are so excited to learn to read, and I want to support their growth by providing books on their individual reading levels.
My Project
With the books that I am asking for, my students will be able to select a book that they can actually read, to help them practice their reading skills. Right now, my students are just picking a book that looks interesting, and looking at the pictures, because all of my books are for third grade and up.
This project will definitely make a difference in the lives of my students.
I believe reading is one of the necessary skills everyone needs in life, and I want to provide the opportunity for my students to learn to read.
