Help me give my students a block table and chair set, a house cleaning set, and a housekeeping stand to help them learn and grow in areas of everyday living by pretend play.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are eager to learn, they come to school ready for a new adventure. They are very energetic most of my students are below the poverty level.
Our school is mostly free lunch and a Title I school.
Our resources are limited. My students need so many resources to help them in their developmental learning. Everyday I am always looking for new ways and new ideals to engage , encourage, and inspire my students to be the best students they can be.
My Project
With this new table set and cleaning set my students will be able to learn as they pretend in playing. The table set will help them with table setting and eating with friends and family, not to mention pretend cooking using the table as a place to put food. They will also use the table as a writing space to write pretend letters.
The cleaning set will help them be responsible for cleaning their little messes and the cleaning stand will help them to put things back in their proper places.
As students play at the table and with the cleaning set they will learn how to communicate and get along with their peers and develop good student relationships along with learning team work.
