My Project
“Start by doing what is necessary; then do what is possible; and suddenly, you are doing the impossible," said Francis of Assisi. This has been one of my guiding quotes as an educator. There is so much we can do but once we start with the little thing, it gives us the power to accomplish the impossible.
Watching my scholars-athletes gave me a great eye-opener: the students-athletes are doing something extraordinary: they are keeping up with their grades and practicing hard to represent their school.
It's a long time between lunch and the moment they make it home. Having snacks after school before practice will help fuel them up and get them ready to thrive on the field.
