My students need basic supplies necessary to be successful in school. We want to be able to supply them with what they need so they can focus on being stronger learners!
The fifth graders at our school are an energetic, open minded, persevering group of students. We work hard to challenge our students to be critical thinkers as well as problem solvers.
As 5th grade teachers it's our job to make sure our students are fully prepared to leave elementary school and enter the middle school world.
We are committed to pushing our students both academically and socially to make our community a better place.
Having the necessary supplies to be able to reach our goals is sometimes a struggle for our students. Many of our students are new to the country. We have many student this year from all around the world; Russia, Mexico, Columbia, Brazil and the Philippines. We appreciate your support in giving all of our students the necessary supplies needed for a successful school year!
My Project
Many of the students in our grade level are coming from out of state and out of the country. It is typical for our students to show up on their first day without any supplies.
Having the necessary supplies like markers, pens, paper, and Clorox wipes ready for our students makes their transition to a new school and area much smoother.
They are able to focus on their learning and making new friends instead of not having what they need to be successful. It is comforting to see the students faces fill with relief when they know we have what they need right here at the school.
