The beginning of the school year can be a challenging time for students. I want to provide my math students with a starter kit of school supplies to guarantee their readiness for the new year and ease the burden on their families.
Your donation will assist in providing supplies for every student to use daily as they construct, explore, and record patterns while learning new mathematical concepts.
Quick calculations and brainstorming can be done with the ticket holder that acts as a personal whiteboard. Students will also document their learning and complete problem-solving tasks in the composition notebook. Last, students will have access to school supplies whether working at home or at school.
As students make connections across the curriculum and note their personal progress toward learning objectives, they will confidently expand their mathematical toolbox with new problem-solving skills. The math starter kits will guarantee that all of my students can actively participate in learning opportunities from the start.
